1.Recurrent
drug use resulting in a failure to fulfill obligations at work, school, or home
(eg. repeated absences or poor work performance, absences, suspensions, or
expulsions from school; neglect of children or household).

Recurrent drug use in situations in which it is physically hazardous (eg.
driving an automobile or operating a machine).

Recurrent drug-related legal problems.

Continued drug use despite having persistent or recurrent social or
interpersonal problems caused or exacerbated by the effects of the drug use
(eg. arguments with spouse about consequences of drug use, physical

1.Tolerance,
as defined by either:
1)
a need for markedly increased amounts of the drug to achieve intoxication or
desired effect,or
2)
markedly diminished effect with continued use of the same amount of the drug.

and heavy opioid use, or administration of an opioid antagonist, person experienced
at least 3 characteristic symptoms of withdrawal, or 2) substance often taken
to relieve or avoid withdawal symptom.
